Being mentioned by an AI engine and being cited as a source are different outcomes with different fixes. Citations is where you see, per domain and per engine, who's actually being pointed to as the answer, not just named in passing.

How to read the leaderboard

Each row is a domain that showed up as a cited source across your tracked prompts. The per-engine columns show whether that citation happened on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity, so you can see whether a competitor's citation strength is broad across engines or concentrated on just one.

Why mention and citation are tracked separately

A brand can be mentioned in an AI answer without being the source the engine actually points to, or credits. Mention Rate and Citation Rate are tracked as two separate numbers throughout GEOREX, not one blended score, precisely so this distinction never gets lost.
